Bethel Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a Unit of BFGM Charitable Trust-Registered as a Public Charitable non-profit Trust founded by Dr Florence Durairaj and Dr N Durairaj.
In the year 1983 the school was founded as Bethel English Nursery School with a handful of children. Later it was renamed as Bethel Junior School by adding primary classes.
By the grace of God, the able assistance of a team of talented , hard working teachers and the co-operation of the parents the school has grown to the present level.
The school follows the cuirriculam and syllabus prescribed by the Board of Tamil nadu Government and prepares the students for the SSLC and Higher Secondary school Certificate examinations.
The school had been approved as a Matriculation School in the academic year 1994-95 by the Government of Tamilnadu.
The motto of the School is “Arise and Shine.”
The aims and objectives of the Trust is to promote education in both urban and rural areas.
Our special emphasis is on developing the economically weaker sections and adult literacy in rural areas.
The Trust aims to transform educational Institutions into the pattern of English Public School by providing quality education for the overall development of the children.
Bethel aims at implanting the seeds of good habits in the hearts of our student, inculcating a sense of duty in their minds, influencing them to behave in a decent manner, invigorating them to be God-fearing and making them realize their innate talents and latent abilities.
Dr N Durairaj is a active member of the school and guides the school with motivation and encourages the students.
Dr Florence Durairaj started the school in the year 1983. she is actively involved in the welfare of the students.
